Costa da Lagoa is a village on the shore of Lagoa da Conceição, reached mainly by boat or trail. It keeps a residential character with small inns and restaurants.

The Joaquina Dunes form a sand field between Lagoa da Conceição and Joaquina Beach. They are used for walking, sports, and viewing the coastal landscape.

The Lagoa do Peri Municipal Natural Monument protects the largest freshwater lagoon on Santa Catarina Island. It offers trails, swimming areas, and contact with Atlantic Forest.

Parque de Coqueiros is a green area on the continental shore of South Bay, in the Coqueiros neighborhood. It offers leisure space, walking paths, and views of Santa Catarina Island.

Barra da Lagoa’s natural pools form among rocks at the eastern tip of the beach. Access is by trails and walkways near the channel and headland.

The Hercílio Luz Bridge connects the island to the mainland and is one of Florianópolis’s landmarks. Parque da Luz sits at the island-side approach, next to the historic structure.

The Lagoinha do Leste Trail starts at Pântano do Sul and leads to an isolated beach at the far south of the island. The route crosses Atlantic Forest and hillsides.
